GDPR

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy. However compared to its predecessor, the 1995 Data Protection Directive, the GDPR goes much further in assigning responsibility and hefty sanctions on data controllers and data processors.

Even though the GDPR is a European reform, it has worldwide implications, and is widely recognised as being a driver of global data processing reform as internet giants such as Facebook are forced into providing assurance that GDPR will be applied globally.

With that said, privacy is important to me as well, so here's my explicit promise: I will never rent, share or sell your data to anyone else and use it for the sole purpose of responding to any inquiries and/or questions you might have and other terminology-related news you opted-in for.

If that's not OK with you, you can easily unsubscribe by sending me an email to ale (at) terminologyworks (dot) com. I hope though to continue to be friends with you on social media (click the respective icons below).
